WDC Lecture, Center for the Arts
2PM - From Prairie Skirts to Cowboy Boots...cowboy bootmaker Lisa Sorrell talks about finding her craft, a journey that took her from sewing clothing to learning boot making. Lisa has won numerous awards for her inspired talent and was a featured artist on the PBS program Craft in America.

A free one hour presentation in the Center Theater.


WDC GALA EVENT, Center for the Arts

6PM - Jewelry Show and Champagne Reception
An up-close-and-personal live model Jewelry Show and Champagne Reception.

7:15PM - Winners Circle Art Auction*, Design Excellence Awards Ceremony & Fashion Show**
*Past award winners donate new works of art to be auctioned off.  All proceeds benefit the annual WDC artist awards fund.
**A runway fashion show in the Center Theater, presenting western-genre couture collections from both up-and-coming and established fashion designers.
